The main problem you have

Take the one main problem you have with yourself:  you’re not persistent, you’re not motivated, you’re not this or that.

I challenge you to go and look for evidence that you may be wrong.

You’re not persistent?

Well that’s not true.  You’ve been blaming yourself daily for the past 35 years now; if that’s not persistence, I don’t know what is!!

You’re just using your persistence for the wrong thing.

You’re not motivated?

Yet when you’re down in the pit of despair, you can drag yourself out of the sofa, get dressed and go to the store to buy chocolate.  That’s pure motivation right there!

It’s just applied for something you’re not happy about.
