Change jobs, change countries, change partners, change your character…
Big changes like that take a lot of courage, time, resources… Which makes them seem out of reach.
That’s demotivating, so you don’t really take action.
And so of course, well… Change doesn’t happen.
You think, “I just have to keep it together a little longer, bear with that overwhelming job, that unpleasant manager, that boring life until I get a better circumstance.”
But you don’t see how you’ll have the energy to face more of that shitty situation. It’s draining you.
For every day that goes by, you have even less energy to make a change. The step seems too big.
What if it were much simpler than that? All you need is to see your situation *slightly* differently.
A small, simple change of focus that will change your feeling. Take you from overwhelm to curiosity. From anxiety to comfort. From resentment to competence.
Real change is never a big bang. It’s just a gym. You go there. Every day. Train what you can. With the energy you have.
Do it regularly and pretty soon, your muscles will show. You’ll look slimmer. You’ll feel better.
The circumstances will be the same, but you? You might even feel happy.
